Nov. 6th Morning, CSP Focus China Tour 2017 officially launches its first stop on China National Solar Thermal Alliance. The delegation members are from global CSP companies from USA, Spain, France, Germany, Italy and South Africa. Led by Mr. Sunny Sun, General Manager of CSP Focus, the delegation have deep communication with the Alliance regarding China CSP market. On behalf of the National Solar Thermal Alliance, Secretary General Ms. Du Fengli extends cordial welcome to all the guests.

During the visit, Ms. Du Fengli and delegation make an in-depth exploration of the progress and future plan of China CSP pilot projects as well as current status of China CSP value chain development. Moreover, they make a fierce debate on some critical questions on the first pilot projects development and the CSP technology trends.

China National Solar Thermal Energy Alliance, referred to as "the Alliance" was proposed and established by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, All China Federation of Trade Unions, and China Development Bank in 2009 to lead the R&D innovation and promote the solar thermal development and application under the guidance of the MOST. In the assessment of 104 alliances organized by the MOST from 2012 to 2015, the Alliance has been graded among the top 3 successively.

As a non-profit membership organization, by September 2016, the Alliance has 71 members, with corporate members accounting for 71%. The members' products and services cover ultra-white glass, parabolic glass reflector, parabolic trough concentrator, heliostats, evacuated tube receiver, tracking driver, tracking controlling system, and molten salt as well as overall system integration and plant engineering construction and etc.
